Remote Data Analyst (Europe Remote)

Description

Remote Data Analyst (Europe Remote)

Make Data the Difference—From Anywhere in Europe

How do businesses make more intelligent, bolder decisions in a world overloaded with data? Data Analysts who see patterns where others see chaos and who thrive on turning numbers into strategies that move teams forward. This is a role for someone who relishes translating raw data into clear direction, building insights that don’t just inform—they transform how teams work, create, and succeed. If you're energized by the challenge of simplifying complexity and driving measurable impact, you’ll find plenty of purpose—and autonomy—here.

What You'll Achieve

Every insight you deliver here shapes the big picture. You'll dig into datasets that span millions of customer interactions, uncovering trends that become the backbone for growth campaigns and product launches. Your dashboards will empower leaders to take confident, data-driven action, while your ad-hoc analysis unlocks new ways for the team to optimize both process and outcome. You’ll design A/B tests that reveal what truly resonates with users, and your work will help marketing and product teams align more quickly and strategically. When a team member is struggling with a metric, you’ll turn ambiguity into actionable clarity, explaining not just the what but the why, whether in a quick Loom video or a collaborative Notion doc.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure every new initiative is measured for impact from the start.
  • Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards that provide real-time insights into business health at a glance. Your Tableau and Looker skills will help teams see the story, not just the stats.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses that drive better roadmap decisions—connecting the dots between customer behavior, conversion rates, and feature adoption.
  • Design and analyze experiments, from classic A/B tests to more advanced cohort studies, letting data guide feature releases and campaigns.
  • Streamline reporting workflows so stakeholders have what they need before they know they need it—leveraging automation tools and robust documentation.
  • Present findings in a way that makes sense to any audience—whether it’s the engineering team in Sprint Planning or the CEO during quarterly reviews.
  • Monitor data quality, ensuring our analytics stack—comprising BigQuery, dbt, Python, SQL, and Excel—is both reliable and scalable as we expand.

What Sets You Up for Success

You don’t just report the numbers; you bring them to life. Maybe you’ve turned a stubborn retention rate into a comeback story or uncovered a hidden trend that shifted product priorities. You’re equally comfortable working independently or collaborating across time zones, knowing how to connect the dots in a fully remote environment. Complex questions don’t intimidate you—they’re an invitation to explore. You’re always seeking new ways to visualize insights, challenge assumptions, and enhance outcomes. You simplify complex ideas—whether it’s over Zoom or Slack. And, when the pace quickens, you still find space for deep work and focus.

Tools & Technology Stack

You’ll get to flex your expertise in Python, SQL, Tableau, Looker, and dbt. We rely on Google Analytics and BigQuery for robust data pipelines, while Notion and Slack facilitate seamless remote collaboration. Automation plays a significant role in our scaling process, so experience with scripting and workflow optimization will serve you well.

How We Work Remotely

You’ll join a remote-first team spread across Europe, where autonomy is expected, and impact is celebrated. Weekly sprint reviews keep projects moving forward, while async updates mean you can work flexibly. We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus intensely. Our culture is founded on mutual trust, transparency, and a strong commitment to producing outcomes that have a real-world impact. Expect frequent knowledge sharing and open-door feedback.

What You Bring

  • Experience translating complex datasets into actionable strategies, preferably in a SaaS or digital product environment.
  • Proven ability to design and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Mastery of visualization tools—if you can tell a compelling story in Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms, you’ll fit right in.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, plus an instinct for optimizing queries and workflows.
  • A knack for documentation that helps remote teams move faster and learn together.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to turn challenges into opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

You’ll work remotely from anywhere in Europe, with an annual salary of $82,640. Shape your ideal workday for deep focus, benefit from resources for your home office, and take advantage of ongoing learning opportunities. Enjoy substantial paid leave, personal growth stipends, and a team atmosphere that celebrates your development as much as your results. Expect to have a significant influence on how we improve, evolve, and expand into exciting new directions as the organization grows.
