Remote UX Designer Roles in Colorado

Transform the Digital Experience, From Anywhere

Can your vision turn digital confusion into clarity? Ours does—and now, we’re ready to craft the next generation of user experiences with someone who brings empathy, creativity, and precision to every project. As a remote UX Designer based in Colorado, you’ll drive projects where design thinking isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of everything we build. You’ll have the autonomy to shape every pixel and process, knowing your work makes a real impact for real users, every single day.

Annual Salary: $86,226

Why This Role Matters

Every feature, every flow, and every feedback session is an opportunity to elevate the experience for thousands of users. You won’t just be asked to make things look pretty. You’ll become the architect of seamless journeys, simplifying the complex and connecting users with what matters most. Your design choices will help drive business growth, boost engagement, and make everyday tasks feel effortless for people across Colorado—and far beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll dig deep into user behavior, leveraging empathy-driven research to understand pain points and hidden needs. The insights you gather from usability tests and user interviews will directly shape our roadmap and inform every interface decision.
  • Collaborate side-by-side with engineers, product owners, and customer support teams to launch features that 20,000+ users rely on daily. You’ll help everyone align behind a shared vision, making sure every release moves the needle for our users.
  • Sketch, wireframe, and prototype with purpose. Your Figma files become the blueprint for creating intuitive and engaging experiences.
  • Utilize data analytics and real-world feedback to validate your design instincts, iterating rapidly yet thoughtfully.
  • Own the end-to-end design lifecycle—research, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and refinement—while advocating for accessibility and inclusion at every step.
  • Champion brand consistency and beautiful, functional UI across platforms, whether you’re optimizing for mobile, web, or something entirely new.

How You’ll Shape the Culture

We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus intensely. Here, you’ll find a remote culture that values curiosity, continuous learning, and collaboration across disciplines. You’ll partner with passionate engineers and support pros who love solving problems as much as you do. Expect regular design critiques, honest feedback, and opportunities to showcase your ideas in front of stakeholders who genuinely listen.

You simplify complex ideas—whether it’s over Zoom, Slack, or during a spontaneous screen share. Your design storytelling bridges the gap between technical and non-technical teams, making sure everyone is pulling in the same direction.

The Tools You’ll Master

Our remote workflow runs on:

  • Figma for design systems, prototyping, and interactive collaboration.
  • Notion and Jira to organize design backlogs and keep everyone on the same page.
  • Zoom and Loom for user interviews, feedback sessions, and design walkthroughs.
  • Slack for fast conversations and async brainstorming.
  • Analytics tools (like Hotjar or Google Analytics) to measure user behavior and validate your design solutions.

If you’ve got experience with additional remote collaboration tools or advanced prototyping platforms, even better—you’ll find plenty of room to experiment and refine your process.

What Sets You Apart

  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end UX design, with shipped products that solve real problems for real people.
  • You’re endlessly curious, always seeking out new perspectives through user research and cross-team alignment.
  • When you talk about design, people get it—even if they’re not designers. You know how to turn abstract ideas into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • You know how to balance user needs with business goals, making data-informed decisions while never losing sight of the human on the other side of the screen.
  • You’re comfortable jumping into an agile workflow, iterating rapidly, and constantly learning from what users tell you.
  • Prior remote experience is a plus, but what really matters is your ability to drive remote collaboration and thrive in distributed teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in UX design, with a focus on user research, prototyping, and testing.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and other collaborative design tools.
  • Track record of collaborating with product, engineering, and customer support to launch successful features.
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design, accessibility best practices, and inclusive design.
  • You make decisions based on both qualitative insights and quantitative data, striking a balance between intuition and evidence.
  • Experience presenting design concepts to stakeholders, using storytelling to align everyone behind your vision.
