Remote React Front End Developer

Description

Remote React Front End Developer

Transforming Complexity into Seamless User Experience

Can your code turn complexity into clarity? That’s precisely what this role demands. As a Remote React Front End Developer, you'll shape onboarding workflows that reduce friction for our clients and enable faster time-to-value. We believe great interfaces empower users to feel in control—and that starts with thoughtful engineering. We’re building the next version of our platform, and we want you to be the architect of experiences that feel effortless yet impactful.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

Human-Focused Interface Design

You'll take product concepts and translate them into living, interactive user interfaces. From micro-interactions to accessibility-first flows, your work will directly influence how users engage with our tools.

Delivering Measurable Impact

  • Guide UI decisions based on product goals, not just wireframes.
  • Build scalable components that adapt to rapid feedback.
  • Partner with engineering and design to launch features that 30,000+ users rely on daily.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Your understanding of user behavior, bounce rates, and funnel performance will drive better interface decisions. You'll be instrumental in A/B testing and refining UIs based on data.

Tools, Technologies, and Environment

Front-End Tech Stack

You’ll have the opportunity to work with:

  • React + TypeScript for component-rich interfaces
  • Next.js for optimized rendering and routing
  • Tailwind CSS for rapid styling
  • Jest & React Testing Library for robust testing coverage
  • Storybook for documenting components visually
  • Figma for design collaboration
  • GitHub Projects + Jira for sprint planning

Remote Collaboration Tools

You’ll move confidently within our distributed stack, which includes Slack, Notion, Linear, and Zoom. We value asynchronous collaboration and clear documentation to empower remote teamwork.

Skills and Qualities for Success

Empathy-Driven Engineering

You code with empathy. Whether you're creating onboarding flows or refining error states, you think about how real users feel. You simplify complex ideas—whether it’s over Zoom or in a pull request comment.

Autonomy and Adaptability

We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus intensely. You’re comfortable managing your time, setting your own tasks, and pushing meaningful updates without micromanagement.

Product-Oriented Mindset

You see design critiques and user feedback as essential, not optional. You’re excited to join discussions about feature trade-offs, MVP scopes, and continuous iteration.

What a Typical Week Looks Like

Weekly Activities and Milestones

  • Participate in daily stand-ups to stay synced with your unified team.
  • Review Figma mockups and ask insightful UX questions.
  • Write well-structured React components that are both testable and readable.
  • Meet with a product manager to align roadmap prioritization.
  • Pair the program with a fellow engineer to optimize performance.
  • Create a documentation page in Storybook for a newly built component.
  • Host a Loom walkthrough to explain your code decisions.

Roadmap for Your First 90 Days

Hitting Key Milestones Early

You’ll complete onboarding, ship your first minor bug fix, and review our component libraries. You’ll get familiar with our tooling and remote collaboration style.
