Remote Project Manager Jobs In Utah
Description
Remote Project Manager Role-Based in Utah (Work From Anywhere)
Can your planning clear roadblocks before teams even see them? Do your check-ins spark momentum, rather than meetings for the sake of meetings? If you're the kind of project manager who leads with clarity, adapts with grace, and communicates with intention—we want to hear from you.
This fully remote project management position blends strategic oversight with hands-on coordination. You'll own the project lifecycle across multiple teams while aligning with business outcomes. From roadmap prioritization to sprint planning, this role is about more than timelines—it's about momentum.
What You’ll Drive
You're not just tracking tasks. You're shaping outcomes. Here's how your impact will show up:
- Align product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver on high-impact initiatives that support our national client base.
- Facilitate planning rituals like sprint kickoffs, retros, and roadmap reviews—but with purpose. You'll ensure every meeting clears ambiguity, not creates it.
- Own end-to-end project lifecycle management—from initial scoping and feature lifecycle planning to post-release retrospectives.
- Identify dependencies and blockers before they arise, maintaining high velocity and minimizing surprises.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate goals into achievable plans.
- Champion agile workflows while tailoring your approach to fit the project, not the other way around.
- Keep communication flowing across teams with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Notion.
How You’ll Work
We move quickly, but we don't rush quality. Your schedule will offer flexibility, but your leadership will drive predictability. Here's a window into the work culture:
- You'll lead across time zones, not just within them. Remote collaboration tools are your playground.
- Autonomy is real here. No micromanagement—we trust you to set rhythms, flag risks, and communicate progress.
- Your voice matters. Project insights aren't just tracked, they're heard and acted on.
- Expect recurring cross-team alignment with designers, marketers, engineers, and customer success leads.
- Every initiative you guide will touch thousands of users—or more.
Tools of the Trade
- Jira: for sprint tracking and backlog grooming.
- Notion: to centralize docs and meeting notes.
- Zoom: for virtual stand-ups, stakeholder reviews, and high-trust conversations.
- Slack: to keep discussions flowing and feedback fast.
- Figma: to coordinate with design teams during pre-dev planning.
The Kind of Leader Who Thrives Here
This role requires more than organization—it calls for emotional intelligence, adaptability, and clarity under pressure. If this sounds like you, you’ll feel right at home:
- You simplify complexity—whether over Zoom or in a well-structured project doc.
- You know when to lean in and when to let teams run.
- You care about outcomes, not just timelines. You’ll ask: "Is this the most impactful thing we can deliver right now?"
- You communicate with empathy and precision, even across noisy channels.
- You rally others with clarity, not control.
- You're proactive in surfacing risks and fearless about flagging blockers early.
- You value shared wins and team sustainability just as much as delivery.
Experience That Supports Success
We're less interested in titles and more interested in how you think and lead. That said, this experience sets a strong foundation:
- 3+ years of experience in project management or program management.
- Proven track record leading remote or hybrid teams to ship software or digital initiatives.
- Familiarity with roadmap prioritization and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Comfort working across feature lifecycle stages: from pre-planning and scoping to QA and iteration.
- Deep fluency with remote collaboration tools and asynchronous communication.
- Exposure to agile workflows and continuous delivery practices.
Why This Role Matters
Every feature you help deliver solves a real problem. Every timeline you shepherd moves a team forward. And every roadblock you clear creates space for innovation.
The impact of your work won’t just be measured in timelines met—it’ll be felt in the momentum your teams carry and the clarity your leadership brings.
