Remote Project Manager (Europe-Based)
Description
Remote Project Manager (Europe-Based)
Where Strategic Vision Meets Human Leadership
How do ambitious products find their way from idea to impact? It’s not magic—it’s focus, intention, and the right leader at the helm. This remote Project Manager role isn’t just about timelines and checklists. It’s about energizing teams, unlocking clarity in complex situations, and driving features that thousands of users will experience. If you thrive on orchestrating momentum—where roadmap prioritization, feature lifecycle management, and remote collaboration tools are second nature—you’ll shape how we turn innovative concepts into lasting value.
Uniting Teams, Fueling Progress
Your Purpose-Driven Mission
From the outset, your mission is simple but profound: bring out the best in every project and every person behind it. You’ll steer projects from their earliest concept sketches through launch and iteration, blending structure with empathy. When a new product vision emerges, you’ll break it into actionable steps, align resources, and guide everyone towards a shared goal, removing obstacles before they become bottlenecks. Every sprint review, every milestone, and every pivot is an opportunity to reinforce our culture of trust and shared achievement.
Shaping Every Step of the Journey
- Kick-off with Intention: You’ll facilitate engaging kick-offs, ensuring every team member—engineer, designer, QA, or marketer—knows the why behind their work.
- Roadmap Ownership: Transform high-level goals into tactical plans, using your roadmap prioritization skills to balance immediate needs with long-term growth.
- Feature Lifecycle Mastery: Each feature has a distinct story, encompassing ideation, development, launch, and iteration. You’ll guide it through every chapter.
- Data-Informed Decision Making: By partnering with product analytics and user research, you’ll ensure that what we build addresses real-world needs, not assumptions.
Communication: The Heartbeat of Project Success
In a distributed team, your voice is what unites us. You simplify complex ideas, whether in a quick Slack thread or a thoughtfully crafted Notion document. You ensure updates are outcome-driven—never for the sake of status. Stakeholders always know where things stand, and teammates manually copy and paste the revised phrase into the document or perspectives. Transparency, for you, isn’t a buzzword; it’s how you build trust, manage risk, and surface opportunities.
Agile Workflow—With Space for Deep Work
We move quickly, but you’ll always have the room to focus intensely. Your approach to agile workflow isn’t just about following rituals; it’s about shaping rituals that fit the team. In sprint planning, you encourage voices that might otherwise go unheard. During retrospectives, you surface insights that fuel continuous improvement, not blame. With every iteration, you champion cross-team alignment—partnering with design, engineering, product, and support to build solutions that feel unified, not siloed.
- Remote Collaboration Tools: Your toolkit includes Notion, Figma, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Loom, and more. Each tool becomes a platform for clarity, creativity, and action.
- Async-First Communication: You value people’s time and focus, choosing async updates where possible and real-time meetings only when truly needed.
What You’ll Achieve
- Deliver Projects That Matter: From launch to iteration, you’ll ensure every deliverable has an impact. Your attention to detail and strategic oversight will be felt in the quality and reliability of what we ship.
- Boost Morale & Motivation: People love working with you. You recognize hard work, create psychological safety, and maintain high energy, even in challenging phases.
- Drive Real Results: You turn tasks into contributions. Instead of “conducting user interviews,” your work means “surfacing insights that directly inform the next round of product decisions.”
- Spot Issues Early: Risks Don’t Surprise You. Your proactive approach ensures that blockers are managed before they escalate, allowing projects to stay on track and teams to remain confident.
The Qualities That Set You Apart
- You have a track record of guiding complex projects, particularly in SaaS, digital products, or remote-first environments.
- Roadmap prioritization, backlog refinement, and resource mapping are skills you wield daily.
- You’re fluent in remote collaboration, using tools like Trello, Miro, Slack, and Figma to connect distributed teams.
- You simplify complex processes and communicate them in ways that inspire clarity and action.
- Empathy is your secret weapon: you listen deeply, motivate authentically, and navigate tension with care and professionalism.
- Whether working across time zones or managing asynchronous workflows, you find ways to keep everyone aligned and moving forward.
- You don’t just manage change—you create conditions where positive change is expected.
The Toolkit You’ll Master
- Jira & Confluence: Shape and prioritize sprints, keep documentation accessible and support transparent progress tracking.
- Notion: Organize roadmaps, retros, and knowledge bases—centralizing what matters.
- Figma: Stay plugged into the feature lifecycle, helping design and engineering teams stay synced on priorities.
- Slack & Zoom: Foster real-time alignment, quick check-ins, and team culture.
Who You’ll Empower
Your daily work often intersects with that of product owners, engineers, designers, QA leads, and executive stakeholders. You’ll play a critical role in translating business strategy into actionable technical objectives, keeping the user experience at the forefront. Whether you’re prepping a launch with marketing, coordinating a new workflow with engineering, or helping support anticipate feature rollouts, your impact will ripple across the organization.
A Culture Built for Remote Success
Our async-first, remote collaboration culture means you control your day while remaining deeply connected to your teammates.
