Remote Operations Coordinator Jobs In Maryland

Description

Remote Operations Coordinator Jobs in Maryland

Can you transform moving parts into smooth, efficient systems? Do you spot inefficiencies like a hawk and fix them before they ripple? If you're nodding, we might be building something amazing together.

This fully remote Operations Coordinator role is the connective tissue across our teams. From workflow optimization to seamless coordination, your work keeps everything running like clockwork. It’s more than managing calendars and tools—it’s about driving operational clarity that impacts every teammate.

What You'll Help Build

You won't just "keep things organized."

You'll architect processes that unlock productivity. You'll reduce time-to-execution for projects that matter. And you'll bring order to chaos in ways that make people breathe easier.

Our teams rely on your foresight. Whether it's planning a launch timeline with product, streamlining onboarding for new hires, or ensuring vendors are paid on time, you see the full picture and connect the dots that others miss.

Responsibilities That Make a Difference

  • Create and refine remote workflow systems that allow our teams to execute with confidence.
  • Monitor project pipelines, flag risks early, and coordinate timely handoffs across departments.
  • Maintain and improve tools that support remote collaboration, such as Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and Asana.
  • Own scheduling and operational logistics for key company-wide initiatives, all while keeping time zones and workloads in mind.
  • Analyze process performance and suggest refinements that enhance efficiency without overexerting individuals.
  • Liaise with finance and HR to ensure that contractor onboarding, invoicing, and compliance run smoothly.
  • Drive weekly standups, retros, and async check-ins that actually help, not waste time.
  • Document internal playbooks so others can easily plug in and get started quickly.

You Might Thrive Here If...

  • You enjoy solving puzzles—especially when the "pieces" are people, processes, and systems.
  • You bring calm to fast-moving situations, even when multiple priorities collide.
  • You’re proactive. If something’s not working, you don’t wait for someone to notice.
  • You take ownership and turn ambiguity into action.
  • You get joy from helping others do their best work. You don’t need the spotlight—you’re proud to be the force behind the scenes.

Tools You’ll Use (and Make Better)

  • Project Management: Asana, Trello, or similar
  • Remote Communication: Slack, Zoom, Loom
  • Knowledge Sharing: Notion, Google Drive
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Google Calendar, Calendly, Doodle
  • Data Analysis: Google Sheets, Airtable

You don't need to be an expert in all of them. What matters is your mindset: tools exist to support people, not the other way around. And you know how to make them work for the humans using them.

Where You'll Work (And How)

This is a remote role based in Maryland, with flexibility built in. You’ll operate within Eastern Time and collaborate with colleagues across the U.S. and beyond.

Our remote collaboration tools let you focus deeply when needed, while staying in sync across teams. We keep meetings minimal, communication clear, and expectations high.

Growth, Support, and Purpose

You won't be siloed here. As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll collaborate across teams: engineering, product, people ops, and finance. Your work touches every corner of the organization.

And you’ll grow, too. Whether it’s expanding into program management, diving deeper into process design, or stepping into strategic operations, you’ll have the runway and backing to evolve your role.

We believe remote doesn’t mean disconnected. We invest in the human side of work with real-time feedback, regular recognition, and meaningful moments of celebration.

A Real Story From the Team

When Maya joined us, she came from a traditional office environment where chaos was constant and appreciation rare. Within her first month here, she built an onboarding checklist that halved our new-hire ramp time. She also created a shared planning calendar that provided the team with weeks of advance clarity.

But what mattered most? People started breathing easier. Deadlines felt doable. And Maya finally felt like her behind-the-scenes work was seen.

That’s what we mean when we say: your impact won’t be invisible.

What You Bring

  • Exceptional attention to detail without getting stuck in perfectionism.
  • Comfort juggling priorities and timelines, always with an eye on who’s affected.

  • A bias toward action: you don’t wait to be told what to do.

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $61,587
  • Additionally, benefits, a wellness stipend, PTO, and a development budget are provided to support ongoing growth.
