Remote Online Instructor (Georgia Students)
Description
Remote Online Instructor (Georgia Students)
Make a Real Impact—Teach Georgia’s Brightest Minds Online
What if your next lesson could spark someone’s lifelong love of learning? That’s what happens when you teach with intention, especially when you’re guiding Georgia students from all backgrounds, right from your home. As a Remote Online Instructor, your influence goes far beyond a screen. Here, every conversation, every assignment, and every encouragement you give matters.
Why This Work is Personal
Teaching online isn’t about passively delivering information. It’s about listening, adapting, and reaching kids where they are. One student may log in from a city apartment; another, from a rural farmhouse. Your attention turns ordinary days into turning points. In this role, you’ll fuel curiosity and confidence for learners across Georgia—sometimes with just a few words at the right moment.
Annual Salary: $39,339 (Fully Remote, Georgia Only)
What Your Days Will Look Like
Imagine starting your day with a virtual class of eager students. Maybe someone’s shy at first, but you notice their interest in science, so you tweak the day’s example just for them. You keep lessons relevant, hands-on, and collaborative. Here’s how you’ll create impact, lesson by lesson:
Bring Lessons to Life
- Turn digital classrooms into places of discovery. Use interactive slides, quizzes, and stories to connect with students, not just teach them.
- Adjust your pace and explanations on the fly. If someone’s struggling, you notice and help right away.
- Spark group conversations, making space for both the bold and the quiet voices.
Nurture Every Learner
- Learn what motivates each student, then tailor projects and feedback to help them do their best work.
- Celebrate effort as much as achievement. A student gets a tricky question wrong but tries again? That matters here.
- Communicate with families—sometimes a quick message, sometimes a detailed update—because every student’s journey is shared.
Inspire Growth That Lasts
- Tie assignments to real-world situations, so students see why learning matters outside the classroom.
- Coach kids to set their own goals, then guide them to reach them step by step.
- Adapt your teaching using data and feedback to ensure that no one slips through the cracks.
Collaborate for Student Success
- Connect with fellow teachers and support staff in group chats, workshops, and quick video huddles.
- Share resources, creative ideas, or just a bit of encouragement—because teamwork matters, even remotely.
- Participate in school-wide projects that help build a positive and inclusive learning culture.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Every message, every lesson, and every challenge you help a student overcome is part of a bigger picture: Georgia students gaining skills, self-confidence, and a love for learning that lasts. The support you provide—especially to those who might otherwise feel isolated—opens doors they might never have seen for themselves.
The Technology That Connects Us
- Teach live classes over Zoom or Google Meet—where participation is more than just logging in.
- Organize lessons, share materials, and track progress through Google Classroom or Canvas.
- Give instant, actionable feedback using tools like Edmodo or ClassDojo.
- Make learning visual and hands-on with digital whiteboards, polls, and interactive games.
- Keep families informed and engaged through messages and parent portals.
If you’ve ever found yourself making online tools work even better for your students, you’ll fit right in.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You turn challenging topics into easy-to-understand stories, whether it’s geometry, grammar, or history.
- Students see you as genuine and patient; families know you care.
- You guide learners to go beyond memorizing, helping them make connections and find their own voice.
- You try new teaching apps and tech, adapting quickly when something isn’t working.
- Whether you’re explaining over chat or video, your words are clear, supportive, and adapted to whoever’s listening.
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a subject area
- Valid Georgia teaching certification
- At least one year of teaching (in-person or remote)
- Comfortable using video, online classrooms, and feedback tools
- Experience supporting students with varied needs is a plus
What Working Remotely Feels Like Here
Remote work with us means flexibility, support, and real human connection. You’ll have autonomy over your schedule, a helpful team you can reach out to, and the freedom to focus on what really matters—students. It’s fast-paced at times, but always with space to pause, breathe, and find inspiration again.
Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll get to see the direct results of your encouragement as students build skills and confidence. You’ll be a steady presence in their educational journey—someone who notices the small wins, cheers the big ones, and helps them see what’s possible.
Let’s Redefine What Remote Teaching Can Be
If helping students learn and grow—even from a distance—energizes you, let’s start a conversation. The impact you can make goes far beyond the curriculum. If you’re ready to be the reason a student believes in themselves, you belong here.
