Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and briefs.
• Maintain and organize case files using digital case management systems
• Schedule remote meetings, court appearances, and depositions
• Conduct legal research on state and federal regulations applicable to Florida
• Prepare summaries of depositions, transcripts, and other legal documents
• Assist attorneys with pre-trial preparation, discovery requests, and legal calendar tracking
• Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
• Monitor deadlines and court dates via case tracking platforms
• Prepare and submit e-filings with Florida courts
• Keep accurate digital records and ensure compliance with legal standards

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a closely related field

• Familiarity with Florida legal procedures and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adept in managing multiple legal tasks without losing attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable navigating legal software and cloud-based systems

• Certified Paralegal (CP) or Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) is a plus, but not required
