Description
Remote Full Stack Developer (EU)
Shape the Future of Scalable Web Products—From Anywhere in Europe
Can your code bridge the front and back ends of complex systems with grace and reliability? Do you see technical debt not as a nuisance—but as a challenge to solve sustainably? We’re building a remote-first team of engineers who take pride in clean architecture, elegant APIs, and resilient deployments. As our next Full Stack Developer, you’ll join us in evolving scalable applications that support thousands of users across diverse industries. We believe great software is built through clarity, care, and conversations that spark growth.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
What You'll Be Contributing To
You’ll be more than a coder—you’ll be a systems thinker, continuously working to ensure users experience speed, stability, and delight at every interaction point. Whether optimizing database queries or designing modular UI components, your choices will have a ripple effect, shaping product quality, performance, and user trust. You won’t just push features—you’ll help drive decisions that align design intent with real-world outcomes.
- Led and implemented full-stack solutions for new product features used by thousands of end-users
- Refactor legacy components into modular, maintainable systems that reduce technical friction across the team
- Shape our backend architecture using Node.js and PostgreSQL to ensure security, speed, and scale.
- Partner with product managers and designers to craft interfaces that feel intuitive and empowering to our customers
- Own the full lifecycle: from code to CI/CD pipelines to production observability and performance tuning.
- Guide architectural choices across service boundaries to improve maintainability and platform extensibility.
Tools and Technology Stack
Your Day-to-Day Toolkit
You’ll navigate complex product surfaces while always staying grounded in clarity and clean code. Our technology stack is modern, thoughtfully assembled, and constantly evolving.
Frontend
- React (with Hooks), TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Storybook for component-driven development.
Backend
- Node.js (Express), PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and Redis for caching and async tasks
DevOps
- Docker, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Vercel & AWS for cloud deployments
Monitoring
- Sentry, LogRocket, Datadog
Collaboration
- Linear for sprint planning, Notion for documentation, Figma for design handoffs, and Slack for async check-ins
You’ll use these tools not just to build but to communicate, simplify workflows, and stay aligned with a distributed team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
What Makes You a Great Fit
You don’t chase shiny tech—you chase impact. You know when to reach for cutting-edge libraries and when to double down on simplicity. Whether you pair program or review a pull request, you foster clarity, humility, and forward momentum.
- You write clean, well-tested, and modular code with long-term maintainability in mind.
- You simplify complex ideas—whether over Zoom, Slack, or a comment in a PR
- You enjoy switching contexts between backend optimization and fine-tuning UI interactions
- You embrace feedback as fuel for growth and offer it to others with empathy
- You’re familiar with agile workflows and understand how roadmap prioritization affects engineering trade-offs
Bonus if you’ve worked in a remote setting before and thrive in async environments where autonomy meets responsibility.
Work Culture and Growth
Why You'll Thrive Here
We’ve designed our environment around thoughtful collaboration, deep work, and high ownership. That means you’ll have space to focus, teammates who trust your judgment, and leaders who prioritize context over control.
- Our engineering culture celebrates architectural thinking, experimentation, and cross-team alignment.
- We move quickly—but you’ll always have the headspace to write code you’re proud of
- We care about accessibility, performance, and clean UX as much as we care about business outcomes.
- Our sprint retrospectives aren’t rituals—they’re real moments to reflect and grow.
You’ll shape onboarding workflows that reduce friction for our clients, support feature lifecycles from idea to release, and contribute to the platform that’s enabling hundreds of organizations to work smarter.
