Description

Online Corporate Skills Trainer (Remote)

Annual Salary: $87,500
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)

A Fresh Start for Your Career

Imagine this—you wake up, grab your coffee, and your "commute" is just a few steps to your desk. No traffic, no rushing, no Monday blues creeping in. As an Online Corporate Skills Trainer, you’re not just teaching skills. You’re shaping careers, boosting confidence, and helping people become their best selves—without ever leaving home.

Here, we’re building a space where learning feels less like a lecture and more like a conversation. You’ll guide professionals through the kind of skills that stick with them for years, from leadership confidence to practical communication strategies that actually work in real-life office chaos.

Why This Role Feels Different

You know how some training jobs feel like you’re just reading slides to people who’d rather check their emails? This isn’t that. We’re all about interaction. Real examples. Honest talk. Laughs along the way.

One of our trainers, Sarah, once shared a story about helping a manager who struggled with giving feedback. Three months later, that same manager emailed her saying, "I’m finally having real conversations with my team—and they’re responding!" That’s the magic we’re after.

If you’re ready to mix knowledge with personality, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

Let’s keep it real—your days won’t all look the same. Some will be packed with sessions, others will be about planning, feedback, and fine-tuning your content.

  • Deliver engaging online training sessions on corporate skills like communication, teamwork, leadership, time management, and conflict resolution.
  • Use storytelling and relatable scenarios to make concepts stick.
  • Run small group discussions where people can open up and learn from each other.
  • Give constructive feedback that feels encouraging, not scary.
  • Create or adapt training materials to keep them fresh and relevant.
  • Help participants set real, achievable action plans they’ll actually follow.

And because we work remotely, you’ll also join our weekly team huddles (cameras on, good vibes only) so you never feel like you’re talking to a blank screen all day.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a small but mighty crew of trainers, designers, and coordinators who genuinely love what they do. We share tips, swap funny training mishaps, and sometimes even sit in on each other’s sessions to cheer each other on.

We believe everyone’s voice matters—whether you’re suggesting a new course idea or giving feedback on our internal processes. Your ideas won’t get lost in endless approvals.

Tools & Tech You’ll Use

We keep our setup simple but powerful, so you can focus on training, not troubleshooting.

  • Zoom or MS Teams for live sessions.
  • Miro or MURAL for interactive exercises.
  • Google Workspace for documents and collaboration.
  • We use our in-house LMS for resources and tracking progress.

Don’t worry if you’re not a tech wizard—we’ll walk you through it, and honestly, after your first week, you’ll be cruising.

Skills That Make You a Great Fit

This job isn’t about ticking boxes; it’s about the way you connect with people. But here are a few things that help:

  • Strong experience in corporate training or facilitation (online or in-person).
  • Clear, confident communication—the kind that makes people lean in.
  • Empathy and patience to guide learners at different levels.
  • Ability to keep energy high even on a Wednesday afternoon when everyone’s a little tired.
  • Comfort with remote work and managing your own schedule.
  • A love for continuous learning (because we’re all still students at heart).

A Peek Into a Typical Week

Here’s how a week could look (give or take a coffee refill or two):

  • Monday: Morning planning call, two training sessions, and an afternoon creating a new module on handling tough client conversations.
  • Tuesday: Half-day workshop on leadership basics, followed by one-on-one coaching calls.
  • Wednesday: Team huddle, brainstorm for a new course, and review feedback from last week’s sessions.
  • Thursday: Run a group activity on time management, update materials, and catch up with participants via email.
  • Friday: Light training day, wrap up admin work, and share your weekly "aha moments" with the team.

The Challenges (We’re Honest About These)

Remote training can be amazing, but it’s not all smooth sailing.

  • Some participants may join with cameras off and minimal interaction. You’ll need to find creative ways to bring them into the conversation.
  • Time zones can make scheduling tricky—sometimes you’ll have early mornings or late evenings.
  • Keeping sessions engaging over video takes extra energy, so you’ll want to balance your calendar.

The good news? We’ve all been there, and our team shares tips, activities, and tech tricks to make it easier.

What Success Looks Like Here

You’ll know you’re winning at this role when:

  • Participants keep showing up (and actually look forward to it).
  • You start seeing real changes in how people communicate, lead, and work together.
  • Your sessions get mentioned in team calls as "the highlight of the week."
  • You feel like you’re growing too—not just in skills, but in confidence.

Growth & Learning for You

We believe trainers should be lifelong learners. That’s why we offer:

  • Access to new courses and certifications.
  • Opportunities to create and lead brand-new programs.
  • A supportive space to experiment with new formats or tools.
  • Feedback that helps you level up without feeling like you’re being judged.

One of our trainers, Mark, started here focusing on communication skills. Two years later, he’s running full leadership programs across three continents. We’ll help you carve your own path, too.

Work-Life Balance Matters

Yes, this is a remote role, but we don’t believe in "always on" culture. You’ll have a set schedule that respects your time, and we encourage breaks, walks, and offline hours.

We also celebrate the small wins. Finished a challenging session? Drop it in our chat—you’ll get more than just a thumbs-up.

Perks & Benefits

Here’s what you’ll enjoy when you join:

  • Annual salary of $87,500.
  • Flexible working hours within agreed time zones.
  • Paid time off and mental health days.
  • Access to professional development programs.
  • Supportive, friendly team culture.
  • No commute—ever.
