What You’ll Make Happen

• Champion accurate reporting. You’ll ensure that every balance sheet, profit and loss (P&L) statement, and cash flow statement not only meets compliance requirements but also informs better choices for our stakeholders.
• Streamline monthly closes. Your expertise in close processes means teams move swiftly, with minimal errors and maximum clarity. No last-minute scrambles—just reliable, timely financials.
• Translate numbers for non-accountants. You simplify complex reporting—over Zoom, Slack, or occasionally by phone. Partners and colleagues leave your meetings with real understanding, not just jargon.
• Uncover insights that matter. From variance analysis to budget forecasting, your eye for detail uncovers trends, risks, and opportunities that others miss. Your input guides leadership and fuels smarter, more effective growth.
• Design better workflows. Whether it’s automating a reconciliation or tightening up documentation, you’ll make processes smoother for everyone. We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus deeply and get it right.

How You’ll Collaborate

You’ll partner directly with finance, operations, and business leads to answer big questions and build unified solutions. Working remotely doesn’t mean working alone. You’ll share best practices, coordinate during sprint reviews, and help everyone see the story in the numbers—no matter the tool or timezone. Our digital finance stack keeps us connected: you’ll leverage QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel for daily accounting, and join team check-ins via Zoom and Slack. You’ll also use secure cloud platforms to document and share insights seamlessly.

What Sets You Up for Success

• CPA certification or equivalent experience. You know accounting standards inside and out, and you’ve put them into practice for 3+ years—ideally in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Deep experience with remote accounting tools. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, and digital documentation are second nature to me. If you’re already using cloud-based workflow solutions, even better.
• You make the complex feel simple. Whether it’s a tricky reconciliation or a new compliance rule, you know how to break it down and get buy-in from non-finance teams.
• You see the story, not just the numbers. Your reporting turns raw data into business strategy—and your insights actually drive decisions.
• Adaptable and self-driven. Remote work is your comfort zone. You manage your own deadlines, stay accountable, and know how to carve out deep focus time—even when Slack is buzzing.
