Online Corporate Wellness Counselor
A Role That Blends Heart, Mind, and Connection
Some jobs are⌠jobs. This isnât one of them.
Here,
youâll be helping people feel better, work better, and live betterâwithout ever leaving your home office (or kitchen table, if thatâs your vibe).
We believe corporate wellness isnât about generic âeat your veggiesâ lectures. Itâs about
honest conversations, practical changes, and supporting folks through everyday challenges. Whether itâs helping a burned-out manager rediscover balance, guiding a new hire through remote work stress, or creating a wellness plan that actually works in real life,Â
youâll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice they can lean on.
And yes,
youâll be doing it all
from anywhere. No commute. No fluorescent-lit cubicles. Just you, your expertise, and a team thatâs rooting for you every day.
Why This Work Matters
Letâs be honestâcorporate life can be a grind. Long hours, endless emails, and the constant ping of notifications⌠it takes a toll. Companies are starting to see that a healthy team is a productive team, and thatâs where
you step in.
Your work will shape how employees approach
mental health,
physical well-being, and overall work-life harmony.
Youâll be the bridge between âIâm fineâ and actually being fine. And trust usâthose little breakthroughs? They stick with you.
Last year, one of our counselors helped a client who was dealing with intense burnout. A few small changesâlike setting real break times and creating a âno-meeting Wednesdayââcompletely shifted their outlook. Two months later, they sent us a thank-you note saying theyâd never felt better at work. Thatâs the kind of impact weâre talking about.
What Your Days Might Look Like
Wondering what your workday will actually feel like here? Letâs walk through it.
- Morning check-in: You might start your day with a virtual call to review your schedule and prep for upcoming client sessions. Maybe you grab your coffee first (we recommend it).
- One-on-one counseling sessions: These could range from stress management talks with a project lead to helping someone navigate return-to-office anxiety.
- Program design: Youâll create or tweak wellness plans tailored to specific teams. No cookie-cutter stuffâeverythingâs designed for real-world use.
- Workshops & webinars: Sometimes youâll lead a group session. Topics could include mindfulness, nutrition for busy professionals, or ways to stay active when youâre chained to a desk.
- Follow-ups: Because real change takes time, youâll check in with people, track progress, and adjust strategies.
- Team collaboration: Youâll swap ideas with other counselors, share success stories, and maybe even join our Friday âvirtual coffee breaks.â
And yesâsome days will be smooth sailing, while others will be packed and unpredictable. But
you wonât be on your own. Our team has your back.
The Skills and Mindset That Work Here
Weâre not looking for someone who knows the textbook version of wellness. We need someone who can connect, adapt, and speak like a real person. If
youâve ever been told, âYou just get people,â thatâs a good sign.
Youâll Thrive If You:
- Have a background in mental health counseling, corporate wellness, or psychology.
- Can explain complex ideas in plain English (if you can make stress management sound less like a lecture and more like a friendly chat, youâre golden).
- Listenâreally listenâbefore offering advice.
- Understand that wellness is personal. What works for one person might flop for another.
- Feel comfortable leading virtual sessions for groups and individuals.
- Can stay organized when juggling multiple clients and programs.
Tools & Tech Youâll Use
Since this is a fully remote role, we lean on some solid tech to stay connected and deliver results.
You donât need to be a tech wizardâbut being comfortable navigating these will help
you hit the ground running.
- Video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) for client sessions and team chats.
- Wellness tracking apps for monitoring client progress.
- Collaborative platforms (Slack, Notion, or similar) to share resources and ideas.
- Simple presentation tools (Canva, Google Slides) for creating workshop materials.
How Youâll Make a Difference
This isnât just about ticking boxes on a wellness checklist. Itâs about making fundamental changes that stick.
Hereâs what that impact could look like:
- An employee finally gets their sleep schedule under control and shows up energized for the first time in months.
- A stressed-out team learns to handle deadlines without feeling like theyâre drowning.
- A workplace culture shifts from âgrind until you dropâ to âwork hard, rest well.â
And because we work with companies across industries,
youâll see the ripple effect of your work in different placesâfrom tech startups to healthcare teams.
Salary, Hours & Perks
We know salary matters, so hereâs the deal:
$109,560 annually. No vague âcompetitive compensationâ line hereâ
you know exactly what
youâre getting.
Other perks? Glad
you asked:
- Fully remote setup: Work from anywhere that has a stable internet connection.
- Flexible hours: As long as youâre available for your sessions and team meetings, you can set a rhythm that works for you.
- Wellness allowance: Because even wellness counselors deserve a little extra care.
- Ongoing training: Weâll cover courses and certifications that help you grow.
- Supportive culture: We check in, celebrate wins, and help each other through challenges.
A Few Challenges (Because Weâre Honest)
Itâs not all sunshine and yoga mats. Some days will be tough.
- You might have back-to-back calls with clients dealing with heavy emotional topics.
- Youâll sometimes need to gently challenge peopleâs habits, which isnât always easy.
- Remote work can feel isolating if youâre not proactive about staying connected.
But hereâs the thingâweâve built systems to help. Weekly team huddles, peer mentoring, and even optional âwatercooler chatsâ help keep the human connection alive.
Growth & Future Opportunities
Your journey here doesnât have to be linear. Many of our counselors go on to:
- Lead corporate wellness strategy for the entire organization.
- Develop specialized programs for niche industries.
- Train and mentor new wellness counselors joining our team.
If
youâre passionate about mental health, workplace culture, and personal growth,
youâll find plenty of ways to expand your impact here.
Who Youâll Be Working With
Weâre a small but mighty crew of wellness pros, nutritionists, therapists, and coaches.
Youâll swap ideas with folks like:
- Sam, who turned his background in sports psychology into high-energy corporate workshops.
- Lina is a mindfulness coach who helps finance teams stay calm during quarter-end chaos.
- Arun, our âtech whisperer,â keeps our remote tools running smoothly.
Everyone here shares one thing: we believe wellness is more than a buzzwordâitâs a way to help people live fuller, happier lives.
Your First 90 Days
We donât throw
you into the deep end without a paddle. Hereâs a snapshot of your first three months:
Month 1:
Youâll get to know our clients, tools, and workflow.
Youâll shadow a few sessions, join team calls, and start leading shorter check-ins.
Month 2:
Youâll take on your own client roster, design your first group workshop, and get feedback from your mentor.
Month 3:
Youâll be running your own programs, experimenting with new wellness strategies, and sharing your wins with the team.
How to Step Into This Role
If
youâve been nodding along while reading this, chances are
youâll fit right in.
Weâre looking for someone ready to combine expertise with empathy, who can talk about stress management without sounding like a textbook, and who actually enjoys helping people see whatâs possible for them.
If thatâs youâletâs do this.
Final Word
Wellness isnât a one-size-fits-all thing. Itâs conversations, small wins, and the moments in between where someone realizes they
can feel better. Here,
youâll be part of those moments.
So if
youâre ready to work from anywhere, connect with people on a deeper level, and be the reason someone has a better day at workâthis is your sign.
