Description
Remote Social Media Coordinator Jobs in Utah
Can your content spark conversation and grow trust across thousands of followers? Ours does—and we're looking for someone who can bring fresh energy, strategic thinking, and human connection to every post.
This fully remote role as a Social Media Coordinator centers on community building, content storytelling, and platform growth. Whether you're scheduling Reels, analyzing engagement patterns, or responding with empathy to a frustrated user, your work here will matter. It will shape how our brand feels, looks, and lives online.
What You’ll Impact
You won’t just be "managing social" here. You’ll shape narratives that build loyalty, design calendar flows that scale with us, and collaborate across creative, growth, and customer success teams to spotlight the people and purpose behind our work.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring our voice remains consistent—and consistently authentic. Every caption you write, every campaign you co-pilot, and every meme you craft will help drive emotional connection and long-term reach.
Your Day-to-Day
- Build and execute multi-channel content calendars that align with brand goals, product launches, and user stories.
- Turn data into insights—and insights into creative pivots. You’ll monitor metrics weekly to evolve our content mix.
- Partner with our design team to create visuals that resonate (from static posts to motion graphics).
- Be the first to notice viral trends and adapt them to our voice and purpose without chasing noise.
- Write content that doesn’t just sound good—but converts. Whether it’s community growth, traffic lift, or campaign participation, your words will move people.
- Handle DM conversations and public comments with warmth, professionalism, and quick thinking.
- Keep our brand style guide alive and evolving as platforms shift and audiences change.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
You're someone who doesn't just scroll social—you study it. You know the difference between shallow engagement and meaningful traction. You believe organic reach still matters when done right. And you care about the humans behind every screen.
Perhaps you're currently freelancing, juggling multiple client accounts, and ready to dive deeper into a single brand. Maybe you’ve been inside a growth team before and want to stretch more creatively. Or perhaps you're the kind of person who turned a personal Instagram into a community hub and can’t wait to do the same professionally.
Wherever you’re coming from, you're ready to bring intention to every emoji, edit, and insight.
Tools You’ll Work With
We believe in working smart. Our remote stack includes:
- Notion for campaign planning and team visibility.
- Buffer and Later for content scheduling and performance tracking.
- Canva and Figma for visual collaboration.
- Slack for fast team check-ins and async creativity.
- Google Analytics and native platform tools for performance measurement.
Your comfort with learning and adapting to evolving remote collaboration tools will help you stay in sync with the team, regardless of the time zone.
Our Remote Culture
We're fully distributed across the U.S., with a strong presence in Utah—and even stronger values around transparency, trust, and balance. We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus deeply and plan thoughtfully.
Weekly standups feel like progress check-ins, not pressure cookers. We don’t do performative hustle, but we do value initiative. You’ll have autonomy to pitch campaigns, experiment with formats, and shape our strategy alongside leadership.
Expect thoughtful asynchronous workflows, honest feedback loops, and an open Slack channel where gifs and brainstorms share the same space.
What You'll Bring
- You simplify complex ideas—whether it’s over Zoom or Slack, or in a 90-character caption.
- At least 2 years in a digital content, marketing, or social media role (agency or in-house).
- A portfolio (or social accounts) that demonstrates your voice, versatility, and strategic approach.
- Familiarity with platform nuances across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, and Threads.
- A mix of creative instinct and analytic thinking. You know when to pivot and when to push forward.
- Comfort collaborating across time zones and tools—you know how to stay visible and vocal remotely.
- An instinctive awareness of new digital currents, without being ruled by the algorithm.
Growth & Support
This isn’t a siloed position. You’ll collaborate with marketing leadership, work alongside brand and visual designers, and connect regularly with product and support teams. We’ll invest in your learning, celebrate your experiments, and support your creative risk-taking.
Your growth path here can expand into content strategy, brand marketing, or even team leadership. Wherever your ambition points, we’ll help you move toward it.
A Real Story From the Team
When our last coordinator joined, she pitched a "Founders on Fridays" Instagram series in her second week. It started as a short-form Q&A and quickly became our most engaged-with content. It gave our community a peek behind the curtain and, more importantly, gave her a chance to lead from day one.
That’s the kind of ownership and impact we champion here. We want your ideas—not just your execution.
Salary
This is a full-time, remote position based in Utah (or open to Utah-based applicants working remotely).
Annual salary: $44,519
We offer flexible PTO, wellness stipends, and dedicated learning budgets. Your well-being matters just as much as your output.
