Job Description

Remote Next.js Frontend Developer

Can Your Code Spark Delight? Ours Does—And We’re Building the Future With It

We’re creating experiences that move with intention. Every pixel and interaction is crafted to serve people first—and performance second. That balance takes vision, collaboration, and fearless iteration. As a Remote Next.js Frontend Developer, you’ll do more than write code; you’ll shape how users experience an ecosystem that’s relied on by over 50,000 customers across the globe. With us, the front end isn’t an afterthought—it’s the product.

What You’ll Impact

You’ll breathe life into wireframes and bring clarity to user journeys that would otherwise feel like a maze. With every line of JSX or Tailwind class, you’re making someone’s day smoother, faster, and more intuitive.

Your work won’t just live in a codebase. It’ll shape how users onboard with ease, how they navigate confidently, and how they return because it just feels right. We don’t need heroes—we need people who care about polish, about details, and users.

What You’ll Actually Do

Code With Purpose

  • Architect and build UI components using Next.js that power complex feature sets for thousands of daily users.
  • Build SSR/ISR-enabled views that optimize both user experience and SEO performance.
  • Convert Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive components that adapt beautifully across devices.

Collaborate Where It Counts

  • Partner with product designers and backend engineers to clarify ambiguous specifications.
  • Participate in sprint planning where your voice matters—your experience helps shape scope, not just fulfill it.
  • Help QA engineers understand the nuances of flow that are invisible in static specifications.

Think Long-Term

  • Own component libraries and maintain scalable design systems that evolve with the product.
  • Write code others love inheriting—clean, documented, and easy to extend.
  • Participate in refactoring sessions that clean up tech debt and boost performance without sacrificing readability.

Your Toolkit

You’re someone who doesn’t just know tools—you know when and why to use them. Our stack includes:

  • Next.js (13+ with App Router)
  • React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Vercel, Storybook, Jest, and Playwright
  • Figma, Notion, Linear, and Slack
  • We favor a mono-repo architecture with shared interfaces and styling primitives

How You’ll Thrive

Work Environment

  • You’ll operate asynchronously—no micromanaging, no calendar overloads. We use written communication to preserve focus.
  • Every Friday, we share what we shipped, learned, or failed at. It’s not about bravado—it’s about progress.
  • We invest in deep work. If something can be said in a Loom or a doc, it is. Meetings are rare, precious, and purposeful.

Growth Culture

  • We sponsor advanced courses, conferences, and certifications. Your growth is our roadmap.
  • Weekly design and development critique sessions help sharpen your feedback culture—and your eye for quality.
  • Mentorship is embedded, not optional. You’ll mentor, and you’ll be mentored.

Who You Are

You Simplify the Complex

You don’t hide behind jargon. Whether talking to a backend dev or a stakeholder, you make ideas easy to grasp. You ask great questions. You listen well. You give a damn.

You Build With Empathy

Users aren’t abstract to you—they’re real people with time constraints, accessibility needs, and expectations. You sweat the small stuff because someone else will notice if you don’t.

You’re Bold But Measured

You love a fresh refactor or elegant abstraction, but you also value shipping. You know when a workaround is acceptable—and when it’s time to push for better foundations.

What Success Looks Like

  • You’ve built and shipped multiple user-facing features that are stable, fast, and delightful.
  • Your code gets merged with minimal review rework because your collaborators trust your process.
  • You proactively flag UX inconsistencies before they hit QA.
  • You’ve improved at least one workflow or library—not because you were told, but because you noticed.

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $144,431
  • Fully remote, globally distributed team
  • Home office stipend and wellness budget
  • Yearly company retreat (remote-friendly)
  • Healthcare and retirement benefits (region-specific)

Let’s Build Something Purposeful Together

If the idea of refining an onboarding flow excites you more than launching flashy but hollow features—you’ll fit right in. If you care about what the user feels more than what the spec says—we’re aligned. If you’re ready to make an impact from day one, we’re prepared to meet you.
