Key Responsibilities

Financial Forecasting and Analysis

• Prepare accurate cash flow projections using historic and trend data.
• Evaluate public revenue sources and expense reports to identify efficiency opportunities.

Liquidity and Investment Oversight

• Track daily cash balances to ensure the smooth operation of financial functions.
• Develop conservative investment strategies that comply with legal and policy standards.
• Analyze short- and long-term cash needs to minimize idle balances.

Public Debt and Compliance

• Assist in the analysis and maintenance of bond issuances, lease-purchase agreements, and loan portfolios.
• Coordinate with auditors to meet financial reporting standards.
• Ensure compliance with government accounting standards and statutory frameworks.

Strategic Financial Advising

• Use data to prepare actionable reports for leadership on treasury performance.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategy with community goals.

Treasury Tools and Automation

Qualifications

Education
