Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and deliver periodic government financial statements per regulatory timelines and requirements
  • Review and balance ledger accounts to validate data accuracy and maintain consistency
  • Collaborate in assembling the Annual Comprehensive Financial Statement, ensuring clarity and full compliance
  • Analyze fiscal data, consolidate multiple agency accounts, and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Review budget performance reports and identify trends, anomalies, or risks in government spending
  • Maintain consistent communication with finance teams, auditors, and government entities
  • Track and document financial transactions by the Uniform Guidance and other applicable regulations
  • Contribute to policy and procedure documentation related to financial reporting practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CGFM designation (Certified Government Financial Manager)
