• Oversee application processes from start to finish
• Maintain meticulous records of proposals, deadlines, and reporting requirements
• Prepare visually engaging, outcome-driven reports

• Research foundation, federal, and corporate funding opportunities
• Monitor trends and emerging opportunities in the philanthropic landscape

🧑‍💻 A Day in the Life of a Grant Program Coordinator

Your day might start with a brainstorming call to outline an innovative arts education proposal. Mid-morning, you’re analyzing a newly released grant opportunity and drafting a brief for the program team. By lunch, you’re reviewing a final narrative before submission, triple-checking compliance requirements, and fine-tuning the budget. After a walk break (we love walk breaks!), you’re hopping into a strategy session to plan next quarter’s funding roadmap. You finish the day updating our grants calendar and sending a celebratory message: We secured funding!

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or a related field
📅 At least 3 years of grant writing and program coordination experience
💰 Proven track record of securing grants of $50,000 or more
📝 Exceptional writing and editing skills
📲 Comfort using tools like Google Workspace, Airtable, Asana, or similar project management systems
💡 Familiarity with grant databases and CRMs is a big plus
